Specialty
Slow the spiral. Reclaim your nervous system.
Anxiety is exhausting. We help you understand the signals your body is sending — and build skills to respond instead of react.
What it can look like
- Racing thoughts that won't shut off at night
- Physical symptoms — chest tightness, shallow breathing, stomach tension
- Avoiding things that used to feel easy
- Constant 'what-ifs' and worst-case planning
- Panic that comes out of nowhere
How we work
Approach
Polyvagal-informed
We start by helping you read your nervous system, not override it. Regulation comes before re-evaluation.
CBT & exposure, gently
Cognitive tools and graded exposure — applied at a pace that respects your history.
Mindfulness & somatic
Practical anchors for the body, not just the head. Skills you can use mid-meeting.
Who we work with
Who we work with for anxiety
We see adults and adolescents (7+) across Texas — high-functioning professionals running on adrenaline, parents whose anxiety has quietly become the family weather, students whose first panic attack came out of nowhere, and bilingual clients who are tired of explaining their anxiety in their second language.
Common questions
FAQ
- How long until I feel better?
- Most clients notice meaningful shifts in 6–10 sessions, though deeper work takes longer. We reassess together every 6–8 weeks.
- What if I have panic attacks?
- Panic is highly treatable. We focus on understanding the cycle, regulating the body, and gradually rebuilding confidence.
- Do you treat OCD?
- We treat anxiety with overlapping OCD features. For severe OCD requiring formal ERP, we'll refer you to a specialist.
- Will I have to confront things I'm afraid of?
- Only when you're ready, and only at a pace you choose. Exposure work is collaborative and graded — we never push past your consent or your nervous system's capacity.
- Can therapy help with health anxiety?
- Yes. Health anxiety responds well to a combination of nervous-system regulation, cognitive work around uncertainty, and gentle behavioral experiments. We approach it without judgment.
